Our Polyimide tape consists of a Polyimide film and a heat curing silicone adhesive. The Polyimide tape is a special masking tape which is heat, tear, flame, radiation and chemical resistant, and is mainly used in the electronics industry during PCP mounting. Here it is especially used to cover critical components (such as gold contacts, multiple pin strips, etc. ) or complete areas during the soldering process. It can be easily detached without leaving any residues.

Polyimide tape is also used during wave soldering, powder-coating, chemical processes, autoclaving, even for building models it is by now in great demand.
